Hello readers! 

Welcome to my 2nd blog post where I will mainly be focused on the topic in question which is cyberattack.

 Let's start simple, what's a cyberattack ?. Let's use the imagination here, we could say it's like an ambush 😣 but done virtually by cyber robber using codes to steal instead of high tech gadgets and equipment. Instead of cracking safes with robbing equipment, they use network encryptors like VPN'S to hide and steal delicate information. That is bad if I do say so myself. 



Cyberattack


And any one of you could ask the question, what's this have anything thing to do with me 😒and why am I researching it ?. My main reason for choosing topic is due to the rising cases of cyberattacks globally and the effects it's had on mighty global corporations. Just to summarise, it's a growing problem that needs more awareness and  really helps individuals know the right measures to stay safe online. While cyberattacks are a major threat, comprehending it comes with some vital benefits. So, these are the following advantages of cyberattacks.


Advantages:`

Firstly, it is used by ethical hackers legally to help improve system security by running simulations to find vulnerabilities in systems to prevent future break ins and has also been a means of providing skilled people with jobs to earn a living. Furthermore,  law enforcement agencies use cyberattacks to retaliate to cybercrimes by hacking back scammers to disrupt operations and making use of digital forensic to locate malware and lastly help to raise awareness by highlighting the need for stronger digital defenses to prevent subsequent attacks. 



Increasing market in cybersecurity 

According to Dorian Mareah, the above statistic shows the jobs market increase in the next couple of years and the money to be in inflow in the coming years which could hint at an industry boom. 

Now, we can move on to the disadvantages of cyberattacks but for the sake of making it easily readable and not too compact, I'll give 2 disadvantages. 

Disadvantages: 

To start off, the main demerit of cyberattack is financial loss. This is mainly done by disrupting operations of big businesses and forcing ransom payments in return for the delicate information stolen and in the long run could lead to massive loss of income due to customer distrust and weak reputation. 



Projected loss due to cyberattacks


In today's modern world, with increase of technological advancements, cyberattacks are bound to grow rampant. The impacts while severe on businesses also serve as a means to raise awareness on the proper way of using the internet for both individuals and big businesses. And only through proper cybersecurity measures can we as a society evade such threats and make our virtual  society a better place.

This data is essential cause it allows me to collect data from individuals directly that have experienced cyberthreats.  For the final time, I must give you the readers a final welcome 😓. I really did not want this to end but it had to be so. We are in the last bit of my blog where I will be rounding off it all.  The aim of this post is to evaluate how I used the Gantt chart in my project process. The Image above is a picture of a Gantt chart which is a project managing tool primarily used for organising tasks and maintaining fixed time for given work. It's showing the the time period between the 4th of April to the 23rd of may which I set as the total time period it would take to complete my project.
